A Little Trip

I’m back! The wrist is healing. I am so happy to say that I can finally type again, not to mention actually work my camera. Having my dominant hand in a splint has been trying to say the least! Especially since my left hand is pretty much disabled from a previous broken arm. Although my wrist still hurts in some positions and tires easily, I have rejected the splint for the most part and am trying to get back to my normal activities.

I Have Rediscovered Photoshop!

I had a terrible accident and broke my arm so badly that I needed five surgeries to fix it. It caused me to have to change my career so I went back to college in my fifties. My son loves Information Technology and encouraged me to look into something to do with computers, but the technology part of it overwhelmed me. Since I am what I call a closet artist, I was looking for something that would allow me to do art and still eat. Graphic design was my answer. So off to college I went. Read the rest of this entry »

It Seems Counter-intuitive

I have been a seamstress sewist person who sews stuff, for many, many years. In the early Seventies, my kids wore fancy hour glass shaped flannel diapers that I made. Over the years, I have made sundresses, party dresses, Communion clothes, little boy vests, ties, drapes, a Prom dress, all kinds of things.
