The Bathroom Floors are Actually Finished

Posted on

It seems like it has taken a long time, but our bathroom floors are finished. Actually, they have been for a while but I have been too busy to post about them. We do need to cut the metal transition strips for the guest bathroom. But the floors are all finished! Here are a couple of pictures of our master bathroom:

A big job but I think it turned out great! In case you are wondering, it is Stainmaster peel and stick, groutable tile. The grout is a dove grey. Oh, and the tile is named Oyster Shell. It really does look like oyster shell. It has a slight texture that makes it appealing over a shiny or smooth floor. You might notice the wall edging. It is a replacement for the one that was in the bathroom when we started. Removing it left an ugly strip at the bottom of the wall. The only fix we had was to replace it. The color we used is Baby’s Breath, a soft white.

I am really happy with the way the floors turned out, but I have to say it is not something I want to do again soon!

Oh wow that tile looks nice! I was looking at some in store and wasn’t sure about the shape, now I know it looks great installed!

Thanks! And thanks for reading! The flooring was actually a breeze to install. I went with the offset look so it would be more interesting. Easy!
